Rev. Alane Currier Griggs

The Reverend Alane Currier Griggs is a Grand Junction, Colorado native. She attended the University of Colorado, Boulder where she received a Bachelor of Music in violin performance with a choral literature and conducting minor. From 1991-1994, she attended seminary at the Boston University School of Theology where she earned a Master of Divinity degree. She was ordained elder in the Rocky Mountain Conference of the United Methodist Church in 1996. She served as pastor of Mancos United Methodist Church in Mancos, Colorado from 1994-1999; First United Methodist Church, Ogden and Marriott-Slaterville, Utah from 1999-2013 and is happy to be serving Crossroads United Methodist Church in Grand Junction, Colorado from July 2013 to the present. Rev. Alane is married with one son.
